Grolmar, the Furnace City, is carved into the volcanic heart of the Ashfall Wastes, surrounded by magma, ash and terrain hostile to almost every other people. The largest Orc settlement functions as both fortress and industrial complex, its great forges using geothermal heat to produce renowned weapons, armour and metalwork without magical assistance. Grolmar is a hard, largely isolated power shaped by physical endurance, practical engineering and the belief that strength is proved through survival in the harshest possible land.
